Terms of Use
Terms for making beats with ZenBeats.
Last updated: 27 June 2026. These terms are written to be clear about music rights, downloads and custom sounds.
Using ZenBeats
ZenBeats is a browser-based creative tool for building hip-hop and rap beat ideas. You may use it for personal projects, learning, demos, social posts and creative experiments.
Beats you export
You may download and use beats you create with ZenBeats, including in personal or commercial projects, as long as your use follows these terms and you have rights to any custom sounds you add.
Built-in sounds
The built-in ZenBeats sounds were generated for this project and are provided for use inside beats created with ZenBeats. You may use exported beats that include those built-in sounds. You may not redistribute, resell, repackage or offer the individual built-in sound files as standalone samples, sample packs or competing audio assets.
Custom uploaded samples
If you upload your own samples, loops, vocals or audio files, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use them. Do not upload or use copyrighted material unless you own it, created it, or have a valid license/permission.
No exclusivity or uniqueness guarantee
ZenBeats does not guarantee that any beat is unique, exclusive, copyrightable, or unused by another person. Other users may create similar patterns, sounds or exports. ZenBeats does not sell exclusive beat ownership.
No misleading ownership promise
ZenBeats does not promise that you “own the beat forever” in a legal sense. Your rights depend on the sounds used, your creative choices, and applicable law. If you need legal certainty for a release, label, commercial placement or distribution deal, consult a qualified professional.
